Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
 

  • 15 oz canned pumpkin , not pumpkin pie filling!
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a spacious bowl, blend together the dry components.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, pumpkin, oil, and water.
  • Gently mix the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Divide the batter into three greased loaf pans (sized 8x4 inches).
  • Bake for 50-55 minutes or until an inserted toothpick emerges clean from the center.
  • Be cautious not to over bake.
  • Allow the loaves to cool for 10 minutes before transferring them from the pans to wire racks for complete cooling.
