Easy Garlic Parmesan Wings

Ingredients
 

  • 1.5 lbs chicken wings , flat and drum pieces
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
  • cup butter, melted and room temperature
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese , grated
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, freshly chopped
  • 1 ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preheating the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Take the chicken wings out of the fridge and pat them dry to ensure crispy skin.
  • Combine seasoning salt, black pepperr, and baking powder in a small dish.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning mix on the wings and toss them for an even coat.
  • Arrange the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a sheet with a cooling rack.
  • Bake the wings in the oven for 25 minutes on each side.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together butter, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, pepper, salt, and hot sauce. Coat the cooked wings with half of the sauce.
  • Raise the oven temperature to 475°F and bake the wings for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until they achieve a golden, crisp texture. (Consider broiling if desired.)
  • Take the wings out of the oven and coat them with the remaining sauce.
  • Finish by garnishing with extra parmesan and parsley.

Notes

Keep the wings in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months. Reheat in a 350F oven for 15 minutes.
