Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks until they're lightly browned on both sides and cooked to your preferred doneness. Set aside.
Reduce the heat to medium. In a different pan, melt butter and cook shrimp until they turn pink on both sides (approximately 1-2 minutes per side). Set aside.
Cook garlic until fragrant, about a minute.
Pour in broth, add cream, incorporate dijon mustard and cajun seasoning. Bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a minute.
Stir in the cheese, allowing it to melt into the sauce.
Add lemon juice, parsley, and the cooked shrimp. Serve the flavorful mixture over the seared steaks!
