Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steaks, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 lb Yukon gold potatoes, diced
  • 2 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt , to taste
  • pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet made of cast iron, heat up a mixture of olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Introduce potatoes, garlic, thyme, rosemary, and oregano to the skillet, and sauté for roughly 3 minutes.
  • Stir the contents and continue cooking for an extra 3 minutes until the potatoes reach a tender state when pricked with a fork. Take out the potatoes and place them on a plate. Next, turn the heat of the skillet to high, and put in 1 tablespoon of butter together with the steak bites.
  • Let the steak sear for about a minute, and then stir consistently until they attain a golden brown hue. As a final touch, generously scatter freshly chopped herbs over the steak to enhance its flavor. Delight in relishing this delectable and savory dish!
