Hot Honey Old Bay Wings

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy pot over medium-high heat. Combine wing seasonings in a small bowl.
  • Clean wings, pat dry, and toss with oil and half of seasoning mix.
  • In a bowl or Ziploc bag, mix remaining seasoning with flour. Coat wings evenly.
  • Fry wings in batches at 350°F until golden and cooked through (6-8 minutes). Drain on a wire rack.
  • Simmer sauce ingredients in a pot over medium heat.
  • Toss cooked wings in sauce until fully coated. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
  • Alternative Baked or Air-Fried Wing Method:
  • - Omit flour and frying oil.
  • - Preheat oven to 425°F or air-fryer to 400°F.
  • - Use 1 tbsp of baking powder instead of 1 tsp. Coat wings in seasoning; baking powder enhances crispiness. Bake on a wire rack on a half sheet tray sprayed with non-stick spray. Cook until crispy and done (about 20-25 minutes).
  • - Turn wings periodically for even crispiness.
  • - Coat in sauce and enjoy!
