Ground Beef Tacos Dorados

Ingredients
 

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup Monterey jack cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons jalapeños, diced
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Slap Ya Mama
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • Vegetable oil enough for frying

Instructions
 

  • Begin by cooking ground beef, and jalapeno in a large skillet until the meat is no longer pink, and the and peppers are tender. Add Slap Ya Mama, garlic powder, cumin, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and drain any excess grease.
  • After cleaning the pan, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Take one corn tortilla at a time, using tongs, and place it in the hot oil. Flip it over, then carefully add cheese, meat mixture, and more cheese to one side of the tortilla.
  • Fold the tortilla in half and fry until it becomes crispy and golden.
  • Remove from the pan and transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  • Arrange the tacos on a serving platter and accompany them with your preferred toppings. Enjoy your delicious homemade tacos!
