Easy Ground Beef and Noodles

Ingredients

  • 3 cups egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 yellow sweet onion, finely diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, then cook the noodles according to the package directions.
  • In a big skillet over high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onion, breaking the meat apart as it browns (about 10 minutes). Don’t drain all the fat—you’ll want a little left for flavor.
  • Lower the heat, then stir in the garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and Italian seasoning. Let that cook for about a minute so it smells amazing.
  • Sprinkle in the flour, stir it well, and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Slowly pour in the beef stock while stirring. Let it simmer 5–10 minutes until it thickens up. If it gets too thick, just splash in a little extra stock.
  • Add the cooked noodles to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and toss everything together. Serve it hot and enjoy.
  • Notes: Super easy, budget-friendly, and kid-approved. Try adding mushrooms or bell peppers, or stir in a little sour cream for a creamy twist.
