Preheat and Prep: Set your oven to 375°F. Place the salmon fillet skin-side down on a sheet of foil, aligning it with the baking sheet. Fold the foil edges up about 2 inches to create a rim that will contain the butter mixture.
Add Lemon Slices: Evenly distribute lemon slices underneath the salmon and set it aside.
Make the Butter Mixture: In a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup, melt the butter by microwaving on high for about 1 minute.
Mix and Pour: Stir in the lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic. Drizzle or spoon three-quarters of the mixture over the salmon, setting aside the rest.
Season: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the fillet.
Seal the Foil: Cover the salmon with another piece of foil, sealing the edges tightly. If time allows, let it marinate for 10–15 minutes for enhanced flavor.
Bake: Place the foil-wrapped salmon on a baking sheet and bake for about 17 minutes.
Uncover for Broiling: Remove from the oven and open the foil to expose the salmon while keeping the edges raised to contain the sauce.
Set to Broil: Switch your oven to high broil.
Add Remaining Butter Mixture: If needed, spoon the reserved butter mixture over the salmon, being careful not to overfill. Any extra sauce can be served alongside.
Broil: Broil for 5–10 minutes, or until the top develops a golden color to your liking.
Garnish and Serve: Optionally, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
