Crispy Baked Breaded Pork Chops

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a shallow bowl, mix together bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • On a shallow plate, season flour with a pinch of salt. In another shallow bowl, beat an egg.
  • Pat the pork chops dry with a paper towel and lightly coat them with the seasoned flour. Dip the pork chops into the beaten egg, ensuring all sides are covered. Then, coat them with the bread crumb mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Brown the pork chops for about 1 minute on each side.
  • Place the browned pork chops on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Be careful not to overbake.
  • Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
