Copycat Maggiano’s Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
 

  • 1 ½ cups heavy cream
  • 1 ½ cups milk
  • ½ cup Italian blended shredded cheese
  • ½ cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 lb fettuccine noodles
  • salt , to taste
  • black pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Start by melting butter and garlic in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Gradually add the remaining ingredients, whisking thoroughly. Lower the heat to a simmer.
  • Whisk out any lumps and cook until the cheese is fully integrated. Let it simmer for at least two minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to your liking, then pour over freshly cooked fettuccine pasta. It's delicious on its own, but you can also add cooked chicken breast for an extra savory touch! Enjoy!
