Preheat your oven to 350ºF. Line a pie plate with the pie crust, leaving a slight overhang around the edges to prevent it from slipping down, and pierce it with a fork. Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes until it's just turning golden but not brown.
In the meantime, combine eggs, corn syrup, brown sugar, vanilla, and melted butter in a 2-quart bowl, whisking until smooth. Mix in the chopped pecans.
Once the crust is done, pour the pecan mixture into it.
Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour, or until the filling is set. Allow the pie to cool for at least an hour before serving to avoid a runny consistency when cutting.
