Chocolate Chip and Reese’s Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup Reese’s pieces candy
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla until the mixture becomes light and fluffy. This typically takes about 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Now, add the flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixture, and blend everything together until well combined. Don’t forget to stir in half of the Reese’s candies.
  • Take teaspoonfuls of the dough and drop them onto an ungreased baking sheet. You can use the remaining candies to decorate the dough balls; just press them down slightly.
  • Place the baking sheet in your preheated oven and bake the cookies in batches until they are lightly browned with soft centers. This usually takes around 9 to 11 minutes.
  • Once they’re done, take the cookies out of the oven and get ready to enjoy!
