Chili Cheese Dog Bake

Ingredients
 

  • 8 hot dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • 15 oz canned chili, no beans
  • 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • ½ sweet yellow onion, diced
  • Toppings
  • whatever you like!

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9x13 baking pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Arrange the hot dog buns in the pan so they fit snugly.
  • Add your desired amounts of mustard, ketchup, and relish to the bottom of each bun. Then, place a hot dog inside each bun.
  • Spoon about 1/3 cup of chili onto each hot dog, and then sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and chopped onion over them.
  • Cover the pan with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Afterward, let the dish stand for 5 minutes, and gently remove the foil. Carefully use a spatula to take the hot dogs out of the pan.
  • Top with your preferred extras like more relish, mustard, and ketchup. Enjoy this delectable treat!
