Cajun Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons room temperature butter
  • 2 teaspoon minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley minced
  • 1 ½ teaspoons Slap Yo Momma
  • 1/2 tablespoon paprika

Instructions
 

  • Use a paper towel to gently remove any excess moisture from the shrimp.
  • Prepare the flavorful butter by combining butter, minced garlic, paprika, parsley, and Slap Yo Momma seasoning in a bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
  • In a wide skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Carefully add the shrimp to the skillet, arranging them in a single layer. It's acceptable if some shrimp overlap slightly. Cook for approximately 1 minute until the shrimp start to turn pink.
  • Lower the heat to medium-low and add the prepared Cajun butter to the skillet. Stir well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated. Continue cooking and stirring until the shrimp are cooked through and opaque, usually 1 to 2 minutes more.
