Prevent your screen from going dark
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large cast iron pan over medium-high heat.
Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until nicely browned, then transfer them to a plate, covering with foil to keep warm.
In the same pan, melt the butter.
Add garlic, brown sugar, maple syrup, Italian seasoning, oregano, and lemon juice. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring.
Return the pork chops to the pan, spooning the sauce over them.
Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 mins until pork reaches 145°F.
Spoon sauce over chops, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy!
